Sometime in 2022, I drew a random catgirl on the fly in a “can I draw anthropomorphized characters?” experiment. Cut to modern day 2025 when the same catgirl came back. I changed her ponytail a bit, but she basically looks the same.

I’m thinking she might be a regular OC, though I haven’t fleshed her out much yet. So far, her name is Maisey and she’s very squeamish.

Hadn’t drawn anything in months, but managed to finish this at the start of 2025. Made two versions due to seeing this with two different pallets.

Took a nap and had a weird dream involving Obey Me! Shall We Date and furniture.

- Obey Me got an update to the store where you could get furniture by exchanging items you got from tasks (handkerchiefs, headphones, etc.).

- I didn’t think much of it until I learned you were receiving real life furniture just seconds after making the exchange. It would literally poof where you wanted it, replacing any old furniture you wanted replaced.

- The only reason I found out was because my dad started using the app.

- He’d already gotten new curtains, couches, futons, and a bed from the game. He didn’t know anything about the characters or story, he really only got it for the furniture feature.

- One of the curtains he got was huge and Angel!Asmodeus on it which my dad got by accident, but wound up keeping for his bedroom window because he liked angels.

- I had to explain to my Catholic father what Obey Me! really was and it was the most awkward thing I had to do.

Lucifer, Avatar of Pride

  • He and Satan were the first to extensively research top surgery in the human world.  Lucifer, however, urged the rest of his siblings to do research on their own since they should be smart enough to do so (even Mammon if MC’s involved somehow).
  • The first to see MC’s plight of needing assistance with daily activities (anything that requires arm- or weight-lifting) but not wanting to constantly rely on others.  He understands this feeling all too well and does his best to alleviate their mood.
  • While he respects MC’s wishes, Lucifer has one condition: if something makes them swallow their pride and absolutely admit they need help, call Lucifer first.
  • Meanwhile, he has to wrangle his brothers from constantly hovering around MC’s door.

Mammon, Avatar of Greed

  • He won’t admit it, but he spent a large amount of Grimm on stuff just for MC: gauze, bandages, pillows, medical creams, pain medication, compression vests, a five-star mattress, anything that’ll help MC heal faster.  Unfortunately, Mammon might’ve gone overboard and bought something that wasn’t needed (ex. a gold wheelchair with rhinestone-embedded armrests and large diamonds for wheels).

  • He also demands that as MC’s first pact-maker, he should be the first one to help them.  There were multiple occasions where Mammon was caught camping outside their door.  He even fell asleep there once.
  • Unfortunately, old habits die hard: Mammon sometimes uses MC’s condition to get free Grimm out of the locals (”Donate to our MC’s post-surgery fund!”).  Some of it he spends on himself, but the majority goes to more recovery supplies.
  • As the demon of flashy cars, he designates himself as MC’s driver.  Whether it’s for groceries or fresh air, Mammon’s the first to offer a ride.  He’ll sometimes use this chance to show off his wealth, such as buying the most expensive bread in the Devildom.

Leviathan, Avatar of Envy

  • His brand of research is anime, manga, and video games.  Good thing he found a handful of titles with transmasculine characters.
  • MC’s stuck inside?  MC can’t move too much? That can only mean one thing: “LEVI AND MC SUPER FUN ANIME/GAME MARATHON!”
  • Levi pulls out a ton of anime and video games (some brand new, some recommended) along with a schedule of what to watch and when to take a break, especially for medicine and/or sleep.  It’s strange seeing Levi insist on food and sleep over finishing a season, but he wants MC to recover more than the next Magical Ruri episode.
  • He even brings out what he used for research, but the number of stories has dwindled. Levi pulled all-nighters on anime and games that turned out to be either trans-baiting or downright transphobic, all of which he tossed into the trash.  He read/watched/played them all so MC could get the very best.

Satan, Avatar of Wrath

  • Like Lucifer, Satan was the first to research top surgery and the recovery process.  A lot of it seemed daunting, but what mattered the most was MC’s happiness–and he hammered that into the brothers’ heads when he decided to help them learn.

  • He brings some books to MC, but only the lightweight ones.  Satan purchased a scale to weigh all of his books, and anything over 5-10 pounds went back on the shelves.  Half of the books MC got were either picture books or instructions on cats.
  • Of all the brothers, he’s the most attentive to the drains placed in MC’s sides.  Every time the two see each other, whether it’s MC walking around or Satan entering their room, he asks if the drains have been emptied.  He even writes the measured amount of fluid for MC every time he’s present.
  • Sometimes, he’ll sit himself next to MC and read aloud if they’re unable to hold a book.  At one point, Satan noticed MC fell asleep in the middle of a reading.  He prays for a fast recovery but in that moment, he thinks he can wait a little longer.

Asmodeus, Avatar of Lust

  • The JP drains creep him out a lot.  However, when Asmo learns just how uncomfortable they are for MC, he makes it his personal duty to make every day a spa day.  New nail polish, revitalizing creams, calming face-masks…anything that would make MC feel fresh while in recovery.
  • When Mammon gifted MC the compression vests, Asmo wasn’t happy: no one was wearing these tacky things under his watch.  He quickly remembers that they’re necessary for MC’s health, so he relents.  That doesn’t stop him from adding ribbons to the shoulder straps, though, which MC later uses to wear/take off the vest on their own.
  • Any brief glimpse of the scars annoys him.  A connoisseur of skin care, he’s sad to see those marks on MC’s perfect body, but learns the meaning behind the scars outweigh the look.  He still can’t help but worry, so he hits up his sponsors for their best scar-related treatments, lotions, etc.  Asmo later appears with brochures and boxes of recommendations for MC to browse through.l
  • During his top surgery research, Asmo realized the fashion opportunities: pajamas MC could wear without lifting their arms, all the clothes they could wear without needing a chest-binder, etc.  He checked his closet and shopped at every boutique in town for the most fabulous masculine gear.  Most importantly, he brought MC a variety of soft button-down shirts.

Beelzebub, Avatar of Gluttony

  • Most of his attention went into the foods MC can and can’t eat, especially after human-world-anesthesia.  Beel studies the ingredients of all the food in the house, as well as the Devildom’s restaurants (while snacking so he doesn’t get distracted).  If he isn’t on cooking duty, he’ll bug whoever’s in charge with what to add and what not to add on MC’s plate.

  • This attention to detail almost sparks panic in the Devildom.  One day while ordering takeout for MC, Beel requested a food item without a specific ingredient.  Thinking he was on a diet, word among the staff spread quickly, even to the student body of RAD.  He explained the situation after Levi showed him a Devilgram post about his order.
  • Aside from being the most prompt with meals, he also keeps MC on a light workout.  Every afternoon, he’ll drop in and say it’s time for their daily walk.  The walk varies from either inside or outside the House of Lamentation, but Beel’s always happy to walk beside them.
  • The strongest of the brothers, Beel’s more than happy to do heavy-lifting for MC.  This usually ranges from groceries to cleaning the table, all of which the MC apologizes for making him cover for them.  Beel always responds the same way: the best way to make it up to him is for MC to recover slowly and steadily.

Belphegor, Avatar of Sloth

  • Feeling tired? Can’t move around much?  Sounds like Belphie’s department.  The first night, he checks in on MC and gives them his favorite pillow.  His original plan was to sleep in the same bed but upon realizing MC needed space for healing, he grabbed another pillow and his favorite blanket from his room.  Sleeping on the floor was rough, but all that mattered was that he was close to MC.

  • He’s not one for legwork but considering MC’s condition, Belphie will do what he can: reaching to a high shelf, changing the blanket and bed-sheets, etc.  His only request is that MC recover soon.
  • Like Beel, Belphie’s surprisingly prompt with bedtime/naptime.  From the aftereffects of anesthesia to the physical exhaustion of the surgical site, he’s adamant that MC sleep whenever they feel tired.  Once during a Levi-and-MC-marathon, Levi suddenly felt unsafe.  The reason? Belphie was glaring daggers in the back of Levi’s head for keeping MC up a minute late.
  • Belphie usually sleeps at the same time as MC but when that fails, he becomes very protective of MC’s resting time.  While most of the elder siblings will back off, Mammon gets the most persistent: he’s an older brother and MC’s first pact-maker, so shouldn’t he be the one guarding them?  The two start whispering angrily at each other, never getting any louder, and it always ends with Belphie closing/locking the door in Mammon’s face.
